Omni Channel Marketing and Digital Marketing and Brand Management together give strong coverage of modern marketing. The JGI Group alumni network helped me connect with FMCG companies in the Kolkata market.

Liked: The Generative AI course in Sem 1 taught me prompt engineering for marketing content. I now use AI tools for campaign copy, social media calendars, and customer persona development. Digital Marketing and Brand Management in Sem 4 was practical and current.

In Jharkhand and Bihar, the JGI name opens doors. Nationally, you are building credibility from your portfolio and experience, not the university brand.

Liked: Consumer Behavior and Insights in Sem 3 covered purchase decision models and journey mapping at a practical level. Global Marketing in Sem 4 was useful for my export business context.

Disliked: The Jharkhand location means limited brand recognition outside East India. Bengaluru or Mumbai marketing agencies may not recognise the university name without explanation.

At Rs 1.08 lakh, the curriculum is solid. But career outcomes depend more on your portfolio and work experience than the degree brand. The GenAI subject is a genuine advantage. The regional limitation is the honest trade-off.

Liked: Integrated Marketing Communications covered advertising, PR, and content marketing together. Market Research Tools included competitive intelligence methods I use in my research analyst role.

Disliked: Career services are focused on East India companies. If you are targeting pan-India FMCG marketing roles, the placement support is not strong enough. LMS is functional but the interface feels dated compared to larger university platforms.
