Three verified reviews from BITS Pilani WILP MBA Business Analytics students. Ratings from post-completion surveys.
The largest elective pool among BITS Pilani WILP specs. Predictive Analytics as the core was strong. I added Big Data Analytics and Applied Deep Learning and NLP as my domain electives. The combination gave me both breadth and depth. BITS Pilani brand carries serious weight in analytics hiring. No placements, but as a working professional with 4 years experience, I used the credential for an internal move to analytics.
Liked: 10 domain electives gave me the flexibility to build a custom analytics profile. Applied Deep Learning and NLP elective was a standout. BITS Pilani on the MBA certificate opened doors at analytics consulting firms.
Disliked: In-person exams at designated centres meant travel planning twice per semester. Rs 2.98L is at the higher end of the market.
Good analytics MBA at a premium price. Financial Analytics and Data Strategy and Governance electives are hard to find elsewhere. The BITS Pilani brand and NIRF #7 ranking justified the fee for my career goals. In-person exams require time off work but add academic credibility. No placements offered.
Liked: Financial Analytics elective was directly applicable to my BFSI role. Data Strategy and Governance elective is rare and valuable for leadership positions. Institution of Eminence status added credibility.
Disliked: MAHE BA is slightly cheaper with online exams. BITS Pilani in-person exam requirement is a trade-off.
Academically strong programme with niche electives. The BITS Pilani name matters for employer perception. But the fee gap against JAIN (NAAC A++) and Alliance is significant. If brand and elective depth are your priorities, BITS Pilani wins. If value and accreditation grade matter more, JAIN or MAHE are compelling. In-person exams are non-negotiable. No placements.
Liked: Econometrics and Time Series Analysis elective was academically rigorous. Supply Chain Analytics was practical for my logistics analytics role.
Disliked: At Rs 2.98L, JAIN BA at Rs 1.75L with NAAC A++ is hard to ignore. Smaller peer group compared to JAIN or MAHE analytics cohorts.
