Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University is the state open university of Telangana, listed in the UGC Distance Education Bureau addendum of August 2026, which grants it four programmes for online delivery. The grant runs from the 2026-27 academic session beginning August 2026 to 2030-31, covering intakes up to January-February 2031 only. It includes two separate B.Com programmes, one general and one taught in Telugu medium, which is a real choice rather than a duplicate listing.
