Only 5 specialisations limits your choice significantly compared to peers offering 10-18 tracks. If your target domain is not among Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, HRM, or Operations and Data Sciences, NMIMS is not the right fit.
The placement cell for online students is significantly less active than for NMIMS Mumbai campus students. NMIMS brand name does open doors, but you need to network actively on LinkedIn and apply independently rather than waiting for placement notifications.
Exam schedule notifications are sometimes released very late, leaving students with under 2 weeks to prepare. Monitor the official portal and NMIMS student communication groups on Telegram from Sem 2 onwards to avoid last-minute surprises.
The NIRF #24 Management rank applies to the institution overall. NMIMS Mumbai campus is ranked separately and higher, which can cause confusion during job applications.
