How Noida International University Compares for Finance

Comparing NIU Online MBA Finance against peers:

vs Galgotias Online MBA (Rs 86,400): Galgotias is slightly cheaper and NCR-based with a Master Thesis component. NIU Finance offers 10 dedicated finance subjects across Sem 3-4, one of the widest spreads at this price. Both are NAAC A+ without NIRF ranking.

vs Uttaranchal Online MBA (Rs 94,000-98,000): Near-identical fee bracket. Both lack NIRF ranking. NIU Finance has deeper specialisation coverage with dedicated Fintech and Blockchain subjects. Choose based on specific subject interest.

vs IGNOU MBA (Rs 66,000): IGNOU is Rs 31,600 cheaper with government university brand. IGNOU Finance has limited elective depth and no LMS-based learning. NIU offers 10 dedicated finance subjects with modern LMS access.

vs Amity Online MBA Finance (Rs 2,25,000): Amity is NIRF #22 with strong pan-India brand at 2.3x the cost. For BFSI corporate hiring where brand premium matters, Amity justifies the fee. NIU wins purely on affordability.

vs CU Online MBA Finance (Rs 1,65,000): CU is NIRF #19 with PwC industry partnerships. CU costs Rs 67,400 more. For recruiter brand recognition in finance, CU is a stronger choice at a higher price.

vs DPU Online MBA (Rs 1,89,400): DPU is NIRF #41 with NAAC A++ at nearly double the cost. DPU carries stronger brand recognition in western India. NIU is the budget alternative for Delhi-NCR professionals.

Student Reviews — Finance

Three reviews from NIU Online MBA Finance students. Ratings from post-completion feedback.

AnkitNoida · 2025

For a BFSI professional already employed, NIU Finance is a solid credential upgrade at the lowest NAAC A+ fee. The 10 finance subjects are well-structured. Brand recognition is the main trade-off, but the NAAC A+ and UGC-DEB approval validate the degree.

Liked: Security Analysis and Portfolio Management and Mergers and Acquisitions subjects were practical. The Rs 97,600 all-in fee saved me over Rs 90,000 compared to CU or LPU.

Disliked: NIU brand is not well recognised at large banks and financial institutions. Career services need improvement.

SnehaGreater Noida · 2024

The fintech and blockchain coverage sets NIU apart from other budget MBAs. The all-in Rs 97,600 fee is genuine with no hidden charges. Confirm EMI terms before enrolling, as interest may apply depending on the financing partner.

Liked: Fundamentals of Fintech and Blockchain subjects were relevant for my digital banking career. WES recognition was useful for my Canada PR application.

Disliked: EMI interest rate was not zero-cost as I initially expected. Had to clarify with the financing partner separately.

RajeshDelhi · 2025

At this price, the finance subject depth is hard to match. I completed the programme alongside my CA work. The 10 finance subjects cover both traditional finance and fintech. Career services are minimal, so plan your own job search.

Liked: Cost and Management Accounting and Corporate Taxation were directly applicable to my CA practice. Fee advantage was the deciding factor.

Disliked: No industry partnerships or guest lectures from finance leaders. Self-study effort is high.

  • You are a BFSI or accounting professional who prioritises affordability over brand premium and NIRF ranking.
  • You want fintech and blockchain coverage alongside traditional finance subjects at a sub-1-lakh price.

Consider Alternatives If

  • If NIRF ranking and recruiter brand recognition matter in BFSI, Amity (Rs 2.25L, NIRF #22) or CU (Rs 1.65L, NIRF #19) are stronger choices at higher price points.
  • If you want the cheapest government-backed MBA, IGNOU at Rs 66,000 is available, though with limited finance elective depth.
  • If zero-cost EMI is essential, LPU offers guaranteed zero-cost 24-month EMI. NIU's EMI terms may carry interest.
