- ✓How do I apply to Christ University Online?
- ✓Is there an entrance test for Christ University Online?
- ✓When do I pay the fees for Christ Online?
Christ (Deemed to be University) runs its online degrees through CHRIST Online, and its admission works differently from most online universities. There is no entrance test, but there is a selection interview, and you pay the fee only after you are selected.
Short answer: you apply at online.christuniversity.in. You fill in the form, upload documents and pay the application fee, then book a slot for an online interview on Zoom. The university checks eligibility and selects candidates, and you pay the programme fee only after selection.
On 4 November 2026 the site showed admissions open for the February 2027 batch.

What are the steps in the Christ Online application?
CHRIST Online sets out seven steps on its site:
- Choose your programme.
- Fill out the form. The FAQ says you upload the required documents and pay the application fee at this stage.
- Eligibility check by the university.
- Selection process. You get an automated email to book an interview slot, and the date, time and meeting link appear on your student dashboard.
- Wait for enrolment details.
- Pay the fees after selection.
- Receive your university credentials and a welcome kit.
At CHRIST Online the interview replaces the entrance test. Check your inbox and dashboard after you apply, because the slot booking arrives by email.
Which documents does Christ Online ask for?
The FAQ says you will typically need ID proof, academic transcripts, a passport-size photograph and any documents specific to your programme. Applicants living outside India can apply if they meet the eligibility criteria. Create your DEB ID on the UGC-DEB portal before you enrol. Our explainer on the UGC-DEB ID shows how.
Which Christ online programmes are UGC-entitled?
For the 2026-27 July session, the UGC-DEB HEI programme register lists nine online programmes at Christ (Deemed to be University), a deemed university in Karnataka:
| Level | Programmes (as named in the register) |
|---|---|
| Undergraduate | BBA, BCA, B.Com |
| Postgraduate | MCA, M.Com, MA (Applied Economics), MA (English with Communication Studies), MSc (Data Science), MSc (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) |

How do exams and fees work at Christ Online?
The FAQ says exams run online on a secure proctoring system, and you need a desktop or laptop with internet and a webcam. Continuous internal assessment carries 30% and the end-term exam 70%, and you need at least 40% in each subject. Certificates are usually issued within 60 days of completing the programme.
Fees vary by programme, and the FAQ also lists a one-time admission fee and an annual examination fee. Check the current figures on each programme page and keep the written schedule with your receipt. To cancel, the FAQ says you email cancellation.online@christuniversity.in, and the refund depends on when you withdraw.
